Douglas-Coffee County Humane Society Third Community Meeting To Be Held On Monday, June 20, 2016
The Douglas-Coffee County Humane Society invites you to a third community meeting on Monday, June 20, 2016, to solicit input and identify persons who may be interested in participating in a rescue and animal welfare organization. The Humane Society, as of January 2017, will no longer operate a shelter, but plan to focus on spaying/neutering of pets, fostering, rescue of homeless pets, and education in the early stages of this new venture.
This meetings on June 20 will take place in the Douglas First Baptist Church Social Hall, which is on the Ward Street side of the church across from the Salvation Army. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is expected to last about an hour. We hope you will attend and bring a friend!
