Happy 70th Anniversary, Alex And Vonice Courson Mobley!

Alex and Vonice Courson Mobley will celebrate their 70th Anniversary on August 20, 2016, at Lone Hill Methodist Church.
Alex, the son of Mcager and Matisha Deen Mobley and Vonice, the daughter of Clera and Lila Mae Peterson Courson, were both born and raised in Coffee County and were married in Broxton on August 17, 1946.
After getting married, they farmed for a little over a year, and then Alex went back into the U.S. Navy, retiring 20 years later.
They have two children, Larry (Linda) Mobley and Bonnie Redmond. They also have five grandchildren, Phillip, Patrick and Neil Mobley, Rebecca, and Andrew Redmond; three great grandchildren, Kristen, Phillip Jr., and Scott; and three great-great grandchildren, Alyssa, Landon, and Addison. Vonice has a sister, Faye Smith, and a brother, David Courson. They also have many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Over the years they have lived in Jacksonville, FL, Houston, TX, New Orleans, LA, Atlanta, GA, and Douglas, GA.
They currently reside in Coffee County, GA.
