Robert “Bubba” and Julie Hewitt of Broxton announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Leah Jane Hewitt of Broxton, to Edison Ray Youngblood of Ambrose.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of George “Buster” and the late Jane McKinnon and the late Jack Dixon of Wray, as well as Louise and the late Joe Hiney of Townsend and the late Robert Hewitt of Townsend. 
The prospective groom is the son of Anthony “Monk” and Cindy Youngblood of Ambrose. He is the grandson of Cauley and Margaret Smith of Ambrose and the late Edwin and Winnette Youngblood of Douglas. 
The bride-to-be is a 2011 graduate of Coffee High School. She is employed by Smile Doctor Braces by Fender and Goggans. 
The prospective groom also is a 2011 graduate of Coffee High School. He is employed at the McRae Correctional Facility. 
They plan to marry at 6:00 p.m., on September 24, 2016, at Oakhill Plantation in Hazlehurst.
