Coffee Weightlifting Team Hosts CrossFit Competition
On Saturday, May 18, the Coffee Weightlifting Team hosted the 2nd annual WODs 4 Weightlifters CrossFit competition at Coffee High School. The competition was a fundraiser for the Coffee Olympic Weightlifting Team as its members prepare to travel to Anaheim,CA in June to participate in the 2019 Youth National Weightlifting Championships. The competition featured CrossFitters from around the South Georgia region including many student athletes from Coffee High School.
Winners of the High School Women’s Division were:
1st place “Hustle and Muscle”- Kadence Adams and Ellie Perkins (Coffee High School)
2nd place “Partners in Crime” -Anna Unger and Elizabeth Crews. (Coffee High School)
Winners of the RX Women’s Division were:
1st place “Quad Squad” -Katie Roberts and Cassie Harrell (Ironroad CrossFit)
2nd place “In WOD We Trust”-Kali Williams and Maddie Booth (Coffee High School)
Winners of the RX Men’s Division were:
1st place “2 Fit to Quit” -Kaid Register and Jeremiah Culpepper (CrossFit Winnersville)
2nd place “Just Don’t Die”- Neal Wolfe and Lester Sanchez (CrossFit Crazy Strong)
3rd Place “Clean Jerks”- Loyd Amerson and Josh Hersey (MaxOut CrossFit)
