Former CHS Football Player Signs With Jacksonville Sharks

“My twelfth grade year was one of the best years of my life. I had a really good season and broke almost every kicking and punting record you could think of,” Wolfe states.
Former Coffee High School Trojan football player and Douglas native, Lindsey Wolfe, recently signed to the Jacksonville Sharks, a professional Arena Football League (AFL) team since 2010. Wolfe played for the Coffee High School (CHS) Trojans in 2005 and 2006 as their starting kicker.
Wolfe began his football career in the third grade at Westside Elementary and fell into the position of kicker. He also played soccer at the same time, which gave him an advantage with his feet. After continuing to play football throughout elementary and middle school, Wolfe was placed on the JV football team at CHS in the ninth grade.
After making the varsity football team for CHS, Wolfe started out as their starting kicker and continued to play that position until he was injured. The injury caused Wolfe to miss the majority of his eleventh grade football season.
