Former Trojan Tyreek Hill Selected to Third Straight NFL Pro Bowl
The accolades continue to roll in for former Coffee High School Trojan standout Tyreek Hill, as he was recently selected to his third straight National Football League Pro Bowl. During the Kansas City Chiefs’ Sunday game against the Oakland Raiders, Hill broke records as his team’s all-time leader in receiving yards for a single season.
Hill, a star wide receiver and kick return specialist for the Kansas City Chiefs, is now three-for-three when it comes to being selected to the Pro Bowl, which is a rare accomplishment.
He will be representing the AFC team as a return specialist at this year’s game, which will be played in Orlando, Florida, at Camping World Stadium on January 27, 2019.
During the Chiefs’ game on Sunday, Hill caught five passes for 101 yards, scored one touchdown and scored on a 15-yard run with his only rushing attempt in the game. Hill caught a 67-yard touchdown pass just three minutes into the game. The reception placed Hill into the Chiefs’ record book with the most receiving yards in a single season in franchise history.
The 35-3 win against the Oakland Raiders also secured home advantage for the Chiefs’ in the upcoming ACF playoffs.
Hill ended the regular 2018 season with 87 receptions for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns.
