The certified results of the local, state, and federal races can be found on the Secretary of State’s website through the Elections Division. Following certification, certain candidates are now eligible to request a recount.
Certification does not preclude the state from continuing any current investigations related to the General Primary and Nonpartisan Election or from pursuing any future allegations that may arise from these contests. Secretary Kemp encourages voters to report any irregularities or election complaints. All complaints are promptly reviewed by the office’s Investigation Division’s P.O.S.T.-certified law enforcement officers, and if warranted, officers will open a formal State Election Board investigation. The office receives complaints through social media or the “Stop Voter Fraud” website and hotline (877-725-9797).
Brian Kemp has been Secretary of State since January 2010.
