Search Warrant Leads To Arrest Of Two Women On Meth Charges
Two local women were arrested and face felony drug charges after a search of their home by local law enforcement officers led to the discovery of a quantity of the dangerous and deadly drug, methamphetamine.
Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit agents executed a search warrant at a residence on Haley Circle, which is located off of Cross Road, last Friday, January 26, which led to the arrests of 32-year old Amanda Nicole Bailey and 36-year old Amanda Dee Hiers.
Agents with the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit executed the search the home on Friday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. and discovered approximately 3.5 grams of methamphetamine.
Bailey and Hiers were both arrested at the scene and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, a felony. Hiers also had a bench warrant on the charge of First Degree Burglary.
According to the Jail Roster from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office, Bailey has since been released on bond, while Hiers remains in the Coffee County Jail.
