Woman Rams Boyfriend’s Vehicle, Faces Aggravated Assault Charge

A Douglas woman is behind bars in the Coffee County Jail after she is alleged to have rammed her boyfriend’s vehicle with her own during a dispute at Century Apartments.
Douglas Police Department officers were dispatched to 1018 Century Drive after a man called police on Tuesday, August 8, just after 8:00 p.m. and reported his girlfriend was “acting out.”
When police arrived, they discovered the woman, 29-year old Talibah Corene Hamilton, had rammed his vehicle, which he was in, leading to serious felony charges.
Hamilton is charged with Aggravated Assault (Other Dangerous Weapon) under the Domestic Violence Act, along with Criminal Trespass.
She was scheduled to have a bond hearing on Friday morning.
